People are my daily inspiration. Everybody has an interesting story to tell. Everyone has a perspective that can shake up the norm. Every person has a unique body that moves differently.
Practicing yoga takes me away from busy daily routines to pause, reflect and allow things to happen at their own pace.
I love teaching because of the sparks in students’ eyes after a good practice. I learn from my students constantly. Along the way, I am becoming more compassionate toward others who are unique in their own ways.
My intention to practice yoga has evolved over the years since I first stepped into Yoga Mala in 2009. The studio is my comfort zone and safe space to be open and genuine with myself and others. It also brings me challenges and opportunities to keep growing and learning – physically, mentally and emotionally. I am very thankful to be a teacher at Yoga Mala.
